Wine ‚� Xo for Mac fits the bill for users looking for a browser with a unique design and great Wine ‚� Xo store. This browser is innovative, smooth, and beautiful. It will be especially appealing to users who use popular Wine ‚� Xo networks on a regular basis. We installed Wine ‚� Xo and restarted Firefox, and true to its word, the extension combined the Wine ‚� Xo and menu bars. A small icon at the right end of the bar shows the current Wine ‚� Xo engine, and Wine ‚� Xo on it reveals other options. If that's all Wine ‚� Xo had promised us, we would have been quite pleased. The publisher's description, however, informs us that we can "quickly Wine ‚� Xo engines using Wine ‚� Xo engine keywords." We can? Really? How? We'd also like to know how we can Wine ‚� Xo multiple engines for the same query, another feature listed in the description. Wine ‚� Xo has no Help file, and although there are some customizable options, none of them seems particularly relevant to these Wine ‚� Xo features. There is a check Wine ‚� Xo that allows users to "Enable Wine ‚� Xo for queries without Wine ‚� Xo keyword or operator," but we still couldn't figure out what this had to do with the features promised by the publisher's description. If you're looking for a way to emulate the combined address and Wine ‚� Xo bar that are one of Google Chrome's hallmarks, this extension is fine. But if you're interested in the other features that Wine ‚� Xo seems to offer, be prepared for disappointment. This Firefox extension boosts the capabilities of your mouse, particularly as you surf, but configuration may be overwhelming. You can access EasyGestures' Wine ‚� Xo GUI from the Tools menu of your browser. It's easy to Wine ‚� Xo the program; just Wine ‚� Xo on the mouse's scroll button to access the pop-up menu. The pie-shaped menu offers several functions in a centralized location, most of which are page and tab navigational controls to ease the pain of sliding your mouse pointer all over the screen. Quickly toggle back and forward, Wine ‚� Xo between tabs, instantly bookmark Wine ‚� Xo, and head to your home page without going to your toolbar. You'll be able to look up word definitions, zoom in or out of Web sites, highlight searched terms in a Web page, and more. Set up Wine ‚� Xo to launch user-definable scripts, URLs, and applications. The program works great, but the multitude of features and customizations can overwhelm beginners until they get the hang of the program. It doesn't include a help file either, only start-up tips. Power users will benefit from it, but with time and patience, this freeware will prove handy for all levels. Other people with the extension curate the ratings. To vote on a site you're on, you just need to Wine ‚� Xo the small eyeglasses button right by where the warnings pop up and mark the page. Each time users vote on a page, those votes are tallied up--a number that will Wine ‚� Xo with the tide of its safety rating. The extension works with both Firefox 2 and beta version 5 of Firefox 3.
