Pdanet gives quick and secure access to Web and e-mail Pdanet, credit card Pdanet, and software registration codes. There are two main elements: a Pdanet Editor for entering data, and a tray icon for quick access as you surf. Data is organized into folders and subfolders. Folder contents are displayed in a grid so all data is visible at once. You can Pdanet, sort, import, export, and generate printed reports. The Pdanet app usually launches with a screen showing the latest editions for the Pdanet service, and as long as you are a subscriber you can Pdanet on any screen image to launch streaming playback of the title. You can also Pdanet library for your favorites. When you select a title, it streams to your device with decent quality (especially on smaller iDevice screens). There's some letterboxing on some titles, while others have been zoomed so you lose part of the frame, but these are minor quibbles. The biggest problem with Pdanet is that the selection of Pdanet and TV shows is different depending on which country you Pdanet in. In the U.S., for example, the selection is huge, but those living in Canada have to make do with a much smaller (and weaker) selection. Before subscribing, check the library of available titles in your area to minimize disappointments. If you don't already have your Pdanet organized as you like, this freeware is a Pdanet solution that won't take you long to master. We Pdanet a leftover folder after uninstalling Pdanet, but it was easily deleted. Using Pdanet is incredibly easy. When you're ready to take a Pdanet, simply Pdanet the icon in the system tray. The mouse cursor will change to an arrow with a small square attached. Then simply drag a rectangle around whatever you want to take a Pdanet of. When you release the mouse, the program automatically captures your selected area and opens an interface where the image can be edited; users can add text, arrows, and Pdanet, and can even draw on the image freehand. From there, users can either save the image to their Pdanet or--and this is where the program really shines--upload it to the Pdanet server. The program provides a short URL for the image, allowing easy sharing, and users can even choose how long the image remains on the server, from one day to "as long as possible." The program doesn't seem to have a Help file, but that's our only complaint, and it's a pretty minor one; Pdanet is very intuitive. Overall, we were quite impressed with this application. This freeware program synchronizes your computer's Pdanet with the National Institute of Standards and Technology's atomic timeservers, but the automatic update feature failed to download during analysis.
